First-Ever Website in India on Infanticide and Abandoned Babies
Following its commitment to curb the heinous crime of infanticide, Ashrayani Foundation introduced its website paalonaa.in under its campaign PaaLoNaa. It is the first-ever website on infanticide and abandoned babies (in India). The website will serve as a critical platform to raise awareness about one of the most pressing issues plaguing our society today.
Principal Secretory to Chief Minister Jharkhand Mr. Sanjay Kumar launched the website at IMA building, Ranchi on Sunday, 30th July 2017.

Data Based One-of-a-Kind Platform
paalonaa.in is a one-of-a-kind platform that has data of infanticide and abandoned babies since 2015. The motive behind this website was to provide a platform for research and form a pathway for communication on infanticide and abandonment. The event was addressed by various dignitaries of Jharkhand Government and society.

During this event, an Art and Photo Exhibition also organized to elaborately explain to specific stakeholders of the society about ‘infanticide’ and ‘abandonment & exposure’.

Principal secretory to CM of Jharkhand Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Veteran Journalist Padmashree Mr. Balbeer Dutt, Ex Central Minister Mr. Subodh Kant Sahay, Jhalsa Member Secretory Mr. A.K. Roy, OSD to Governor of Jharkhand Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Director of Doordarshan Mr. P.K. Jha, renowned social and child right activists were present.
