This was the 5th time this year, when Training was given to Jharkhand Police on Infanticide and Abandonment-Exposure of Infants at ITS, Ranchi. Different aspects of this heinous crime, Scenerio in Jharkhand and Role of Police were discussed in the workshop. Police officers from different districts attended the training session. Mrs. Monika Gunjan Arya (Founder, PaaLoNaa) was accompanied by Amit Singh.

Santosh College of Teacher's Training & Education organised an awareness campaign on the occasion of 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The guest were welcomed with traditonal instruments and 'tilak'. The chief guest of this program Mrs. Monika Gunjan Arya who is also the founder and trustee of PaaLoNaa addressed the issue of infaticide and infant abandonment.
Following the directions of National Women Commission, New Delhi, 03 days (22-24 October) capacity building program was organised for women police officers of Jharkhand at Investigators Training School, Hotwar Ranchi, Monika Gunjan Arya, Founder of PaaLoNaa addressed the Trainees on Crime Scene Investigation related with the crime of Infanticide and Abandonment of Infants on the first day of Training.. Mr. Projesh Das, founder member of Paalonaa was also present at the moment. Paalonaa is thankful to DSP Sh. Santosh Kumar and Ins B.D. Paswan for their understanding and cooperation.
Ashrayani foundation trust in the series of events in raising awareness against Abandonment and Infanticide had organised a poster launch program on 24th October, 2019. The poster launch of Hindi version was done by Union Tribal Affairs Minister Mr. Arjun Munda at his Ranchi residence, whereas the English version was launched by Mr. Anil Palta (ADGP, Training) at Press Club Ranchi. Mr. Arjun Munda showed keen interest in the issue and has assured the members of the trust that he would raise the issue with Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani, who has been keenly working on women and child issues for past several years. In the beginning of the program, the youngest member of PaaLoNaa, Late Sumaiya Nausheen was paid homage by the guest of honour Shree Anil Palta (ADGP, Training). Later the founder chairperson Mrs. Monika Gunjan Arya gave a briefing on infanticide and abandonment to the guests. Clippings of such heinous and inhumane crime were displayed on the large screen for everyone to see the merciless state of such infants. Every prest guest was moved by the aspects of the issue and had vowed to take necessary action within the ambit of their department or scope of their reach in the society.
